Apprentice and Journeyman Commercial Plumber Job Description
Bauer Infrastructure is hiring Apprentice and Journeyman Commercial Plumbers for our plumbing division in Martell, NE, 15 miles southwest of Lincoln. You’ll work with a reliable crew maintaining and repairing residential and commercial plumbing systems. Expect hands‑on work, steady hours, and opportunities to grow your plumbing abilities.Apprentice and Journeyman Commercial Plumber Responsibilities:
- Install and repair new commercial and residential plumbing systems.
- Make repairs when needed.
- Works with the crew or independently as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Follow plumbing codes and safety rules.
Apprentice and Journeyman Commercial Plumber Requirements:
Apprentice:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Willing to enroll in a state-approved apprenticeship program.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ready to learn, take directions, and show up every day.
- Basic mechanical know-how.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Other duties as assigned.
Journeyman:
- Valid Journeyman Plumbing License.
- [2-4+] years of plumbing experience, commercial experience preferred.
- Able to handle tasks on your own when needed.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems and code.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Other duties as assigned.
